The Role
BearPlex hires only engineers who have shipped real production systems. That standard is the entire business, and it makes recruiting one of the most consequential functions we have. Finding senior talent who can build for regulated enterprises is hard, and we want someone who treats it as craft.
This is a fully remote, full-cycle role with a global mandate. You will own how candidates discover us, experience us, and decide to join us, across multiple regions and time zones.
What You Will Do
Own full-cycle hiring. Run searches end to end, from intake and sourcing through screening, interview coordination, and offer, for senior engineering and specialist roles.
Source senior talent worldwide. Build pipelines of engineers and AI specialists across regions, using targeted outreach rather than spray-and-pray.
Screen for real production experience. Assess depth of shipped work and architectural judgment, partnering with engineering leads to calibrate the bar.
Own candidate experience. Keep every candidate informed, respected, and well briefed, so our process reflects how we work.
Build a durable talent pipeline. Maintain warm relationships with strong candidates so we can move fast when roles open across our service lines.
Improve the hiring system. Refine scorecards, sourcing channels, and process metrics so quality and speed both improve over time.
Partner with hiring managers. Act as a trusted advisor on market realities, role scoping, and closing strategy.
What We Are Looking For
Proven technical recruiting experience hiring senior software, AI, or ML engineers in a competitive market.
Genuine fluency in engineering roles. You can read a stack, understand seniority signals, and hold a credible conversation with a senior engineer.
Strong sourcing skills across global channels, with a track record of reaching passive, hard-to-find talent.
Excellent communication and judgment, both in candidate outreach and in advising hiring managers.
Comfort working remotely across time zones, with the autonomy to drive searches without close oversight.
A high bar for quality. You would rather present three excellent candidates than thirty mediocre ones.
Nice to Have
Experience hiring for AI, ML, or platform engineering specifically.
Familiarity with modern ATS and sourcing tooling and how to instrument a pipeline.
Background recruiting for consultancies or product firms serving enterprise clients.
Experience building employer brand or talent communities.
