Oracle Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Developer to join our dynamic Development team in Lahore. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Oracle-based solutions to support our critical business operations. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle database schemas, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and efficiency, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform data modeling, database design, and capacity planning to support scalable and high-performing applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and data discrepancies.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an Oracle Developer.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database concepts (11g, 12c, or higher).
• Strong understanding of database design principles, data modeling, and normalization.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Reports development.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Oracle APEX development.
• Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
